The Beginning
Unusual things almost always pique my interest when I come across them, so I figured a blog would be a good place to organize the things that interest me. If other people enjoy my blog – awesome. If not – oh well. I’ve never been one to stick with projects I start, but I really like this idea so hopefully I can keep it going.
The Blog of Unusual Things 
This looks like the sort of blog I would enjoy reading on a regular basis. I’m subscribing in the hopes that you’ll keep up with the unusual posts! I love that you post information with a personal touch. Too many blogs of your nature appear to just be “copy and paste” from other locations and they don’t interest me in the slightest. The fact that you add your own feelings and interpretations to the oddities is what will keep me reading! Cheers
Thanks! I’m glad that you enjoy my blog so far. There is plenty of interesting material out there, so I should be able to keep posting. I’ll probably post a lot of “unusual names” (they’re my favorite) because Wikipedia used to have a list of them, but they took the list down. So I’m trying to find more information on those people. I do get my information from other sources but, like you said, I don’t just copy and paste. I like adding my own thoughts. And hopefully my words will keep you coming back.
